was founded in 1978 by Dan Gaylord. Dan first learned the asphalt trade
when he was employed as the Foreman at Wylie Brothers Construction. Later, he created Gaylord Paving. Dan's wife Marilyn managed the office while Dan was out in the field.
Today, Gaylord Paving is run by Dan's nephew, Alton Lowe. Alton now president, has contributed 20 years of service to the family owned and operated business and was mentored by Dan.
Gaylord Paving continues to be recognized as the leading asphalt company in New Mexico.
